VSCU is the equipment capable of interworking with the conventional equipments through optical or SHDSL transmission line, supporting various speed rate and long-distance transmission. It is a speed conversion equipment that converts 8,192Kbps, 4,096Kbps, E1(2,048Kbps), E1H(1,024Kbps), E1Q(512Kbps), and E1HQ(256Kbps) signals from the outputs of conventional equipment (SPIDER) to optical or SHDSL signal for transmission.
